• Bach is a coffee enthusiast. He reportedly frequente coffee shops in Leipzig while it was explicitly against the law. He also wrote "The Coffee Cantata" to show his love for the drink. Any coffee fan is a friend of mine
• This mass brings Bach’s music full circle. He used music written throughout his entire career in this piece which became his last major work
