Ms. Pangelinan is a financial expert with a strong track record of strategic development and process improvement. She has been the CFO of both publicly-traded and private companies with domestic and international operations, including Sunrise Senior Living, Interstate Hotels, and Geeknet. Prior to becoming a CFO, she was VP of SEC Reporting and Accounting Policy at Marriott International. She started her career in public accounting and made partner at BDO Seidman, LLP before moving into industry. Ms. Pangelinan has significant experience serving on non-profit boards. She previously served as Vice Chairperson, Treasurer and Finance Chair for Second Story and as Finance Chair for the DC Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Ms. Pangelinan is also an amateur musician, playing reeds in local community bands and pit orchestras.
