Lisa Richardson leads the Business Development team at VIR. She has over 20 years of experience leading business development, strategy, and finance teams in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences and financial services industries. Prior to Vir, Lisa worked at Emergent BioSolutions Inc., Beckman Coulter, Human Genome Sciences, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and JP Morgan. In addition to the National Philharmonic, Lisa’s board experience includes Women in Bio (National Board since January 2022, Capital Region Advisory Board from 2017 to 2021), and Emergent BioSolutions’ Employee Political Action Committee (Vice Chairman & Treasurer from 2015 to 2021). She is a graduate of Cornell University and earned an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Lisa lives in Rockville, Maryland, with her husband and two sons.
