Kyle Schick oversees the artistic operations of the National Philharmonic. In this role he lays plans for NatPhil’s seasons, manages artistic budgets, liaises with guest artists, and provides production management. He is a grateful 4-time Capital Emmy-nominated producer, with assistant director and camera operator credits on several PBS broadcasts from the Kennedy Center. In the summer of 2022, Kyle served as Production Manager for the Aspen Music Festival leading a talented crew through a successful season. He is also proud of his work with the Maryland Lyric Opera, managing several imaginative productions including Lucia di Lammermoor and Massenet’s Thaïs. Formerly, Kyle held the post of Production Supervisor at The Clarice, where he enjoyed an array of artistic genres from orchestral classics to hip-hop, to jazz and beyond. He’s also worked alongside the next generation of classical musicians as the National Orchestral Institute’s Orchestra Manager. Kyle’s background is in music performance with a bachelor’s from Cedarville University and master’s from the University of Maryland. He is especially passionate about bringing impactful artistic experiences to new audiences and in his time off, enjoys freelancing as a photographer and challenging himself with endurance cycling adventures. Kyle resides in Berwyn Heights Maryland, with his beautiful wife, and loyal guardian of the home, their dog Hector.
