DIRECTIONS

Grace is located at 5407 N Charles Street, which is the intersection of North Charles Street and Northern Parkway. 

PARKING

Ample, free parking is available in the rear parking lot, accessible from both Charles St and Northern Pkwy.

Music Center at Strathmore

The Grosvenor-Strathmore station is located off Tuckerman Lane on the east side of the Rockville Pike just north of the Beltway. 

There is a sky bridge connecting the 4th floor of the Metro garage to the entrance of the Music Center.  Walking time between the Metro station entrance and the Music Center entrance is approximately 4 minutes.  The stage is on level 1 (one level above the ground).

Concert Hall Stage + Rooms 402/405: Strathmore expects cellists and bassists of all orchestras, including NP, to use rock stops or other forms of end pin covering while onstage, or face financial penalties for any resulting damage. NP wishes to avoid any such fines and so appreciates your cooperation in this matter. 

Capital One Hall (Tysons Corner, VA)

PARKING GARAGE ADDRESS: Hotel/Event Garage (1625 Capital One Drive North, Tysons, VA 22102).

ENTRANCE DIRECTIONS:

  • Park ABOVE Level 6 – do not park in the ‘premium parking’ spaces (located on Levels 4-5)
  • Stage Door is located on Level 4 (See Attached Image!!)
  • Once parked, take either North or South Elevator to access the building.
    • NORTH ELEVATOR: Take the elevator to level 5 (purple) and short walk to enter the garage itself, turn right and walk down the garage ramp toward the watermark entrance the backstage door will be on your right. 
    • SOUTH ELEVATOR: Take the elevator to the level 4 (blue) and short walk to enter the garage itself, the backstage door will be to your left. 

Concert Dress

Musicians of the orchestra may wear one of the following dress code options for all Symphony concerts. No gender conformity is necessary, so any gender can where any listed option below. 

1: Black suit with black modern fitting pants with a black shirt with long sleeves of similar cocktail attire

2: Black full-length skirt with a black blouse of the formal cocktail attire with ¾ or full-length sleeves. 

3: Black Dress with formal dress shoes with or without a heel, any color. (Sparkles encouraged). Black Blouse of the formal cocktail attire with ¾ or full-length sleeves. 

4: Black pants suit or full pant and dress blouse combination. Must be of the formal cocktail party attire. A jumpsuit with formal and long sleeves with dress shoes with or without a heel, any color. 

Important Guidelines: No open back blouses, no strapless, must be ¾ or long sleeves. Dresses must have a ¾ or fulllength sleeve as well as no slits above mid-calf. No skintight pencil style skirts or tight-fitting dresses. 

Jewelry: Sparkly jewelry and stage makeup encouraged to prevent looking pale on stage with stage lights. 

*Shoes: Please wear colorful and fashionable dress shoes* No clogs, boots, crocs, sneakers, or casual shoes permitted unless specified. Shoes must be polished.
